You did the best you can do in regard to riding and gear. I am sorry about the rash...what can you do if your jacket rides up. You have a very good head on your shoulders, and we ALL hope you get back to riding soon...
Thanks for sharing your story. I hadn't thought of what would happen if your jacket rides up. I'll make sure your experience doesn't go in vain and make sure to get a jacket that hooks to my pants.

+1 on the loops that attach to the belt. If you're going to re-use the jacket and not replace it, i'm willing to bet that ANY tailor/ seamstress could throw a couple on there for super cheap, all you need is a long enough piece of material and a button, it's worth the 30 seconds it takes to snap it down.
