Umm....
Ctrl-Shift-Tab brings up the taskmgr.
Also, in addition to Logmein you can use windows built in remote application, RDP (remote desktop), of course, you need to know your IP address to do this and configure your router accordingly, but you can also use a place such as DynDNS to setup a dns entry for your IP and use software to update the IP if it changes, this also requires proper router configuration.
