WTF no Steel River, well pacemaker I remember the first discussion we had about this back in the original thread.. I just can't believe we can't get a pint of the finest.. damn discourage [:@]
Hardcorp, sorry to scare you bro, but its is made by Steelriver Brewery, cept you can (or could) only get in bottles. Steelriver draught is still wot I drink down at the Rubbedy Dub (a big hello to Greg at the 7 Seas Pub)

1. leinenkugel sunset wheat
2. new castle brown ale

You mean... Newcastle.. #1

After all its the One and only.

My Choices:

NEWCASTLE

DOWNTOWN BROWN (which is actually better than Newcastle but hard to find)

Anchor Steam

Samuel Smiths, Nut Brown Ale (yea NUT brown ale..)

Fat Tire

Arrogant Bastard

Thats for starters.... soo many good beers out there those have to be some of the favs. But nothing beats a Homebrew from my friends Dad 10% alcohol vol. and the best tasting **** you ever drank!!! I wish I knew the formula.
Nice List. All of these are really solid.

As for your dad, he's my hero. I'd love to homebrew.

Thx man.. I know my beers and love the nutty/dark beers.

Coors, Miller, Keystone etc.. (domestic) beer is CRAP! I rather not even drink a beer if I have to drink that watered down barf.

And as for homebrews its my Friends Dad, I wish my dad was cool enough to make some killer beer. lol and some dude I forget who, posted up a great forum about homebrewing.. had some really good info I lost the link though.. anyone remember it?

Man all this beer talk has me craving...

Really in the mood for an anchor steam.. Cant find anything good in this one horse town.

(yea I know i say I live in Reno, but actually live in a Rural area outside of reno (I say Reno to keep it simple, hehe) , and there aint **** but ****kicker beer around here!!!) Last time I asked for good beer they all laughed at me.. bastards!

I enjoy trying all kinds of beers for sure... but my current favorite is Sam Adams Boston Lager.

Not a big fan of wheat beers...

Oh, and Snow Cougar rocks too. That is all.

this guy down here made a dortmunder that was out of this world...it was like 11%

nothin beats a newcastle...goes with anything, not filling like you might think. just thinkin about em has me wanting one. I really dig the sam adams octoberfest and warsteiner dark lately.

once you get a taste for some of the darker beers, bud light, natural light, and others just don't ever taste the same...like something's always missing.

I love being able to get Great Lakes beers everywhere around here. Their dortmunder is the ****! I don't think it's that strong, though. IIRC, it's areound 7% ABV. It is great though. Anyone who can get Great Lakes should do so. They really know their beer, and everything they make is a good (often great) representation of the style.
