Default Father of the year on a HD -- Idiot

Wow! I have to rant about this. I notice cruiser guys never wear gear, which I am ok with, but this is ridiculus.

There is a guy on a HD with 2 little kids as passengers flying around the neighborhood. The kids are in shorts and tee shirts with no helmet. I tapped my head to signal HELMET but I doubt he gives two flying fv(ks. No sissy bar and I bet they are no older than 8. Amazing!!! Makes me wonder if he has been drinking...

Well, it was a Hardley Ableson.
I see that crap all the time up here. Makes me sad for the kids...

One time I saw a guy riding his scooter with what looked like his daughter in front of him. Thats right, she was standing on the floor in front him. At least she was wearing a bicycle helmet.

Yeah, that'll help her face when it hits the concrete at 35 mph. [sm=boosign.gif]

My 2 year old likes my bike, he keeps pointing at it and saying "bike... up" with his arms up. I'd love to take him for a little putt up the driveway, but I'm just too afraid to do it. I have a long driveway and it's all gravel. You can lose it just as quickly at low speeds as high and I couldn't bear the thought of him getting hurt.

Although he does have what looks like roadrash on the right side of his face around his eye and forehead. He went to pick up a ball on my concrete walkway and fell over it and hit face first. Poor little guy. He's really tough though, cried for a few seconds and got back up like nothing happened.

they do make some sort of device that straps to the kid and around the main rider itself. But I agree the kids need to be wearing more although I don't think they should pay for their dads lack of care. My father used to take me out but I had my own youth helmet and a jean jacket. It was better than a tank top and shorts.
