Has anybody got trapped by their wife or GF so you can't go out to ride?

Well, my girl rides her own now but she still doesnt have the desire that I do. Were supposed to go riding tonight and first thing she brings up is that her friend wants her to stop by to show off her bike. Im not about to waste precious daylight to show off her bike!

 

Im single right now, but man, my ex. Yeah, she didnt get it. She wouldnt even ride with me, not that I really wanted her to, I was terrified of going down and getting her hurt. I can deal with me, but....yeah.

Very simple NO, if one ever tried it would be time to find a new one.

 

My gf accepts it and wants me to go out and ride. I don't take her with me unless were going somewhere close like to eat, I do that mainly cause I dunno what I would do if she got hurt in a accident. I want her to get her own bike though even though I know she would probably not ride that much

 

nope, i can't wait for her to get one. it'll be a good hobby to share.

she took the msf course with me a while back...she'd never seen a bike up close before but had the highest score out of the 14 people in there that took it with us.

...she's not had as much seat time as me of course but she's catching on

 

My wife encourages me to ride. Think shes trying to get rid of me? I keep expecting to come back and find the "delivery man" in my bedroom...lol.. jk. My wife rides too, so it makes it easier when I want to go out and ride. But when I want to go out with just some friends or by myself, she understands and shes cool with it. And, there are the times when she just wants to ride on back. We have a 15 month old so our time is pretty limited to what we can do. There is some pick and choose, but for the most part, I can ride anytime I want.

I dont think I could stomach too much of a women who is so controlling they wont let you ride.

 

my girlfriend doesn't try to stop me but she will try to put a guilt trip on me. She don't like it when i can't pick up my phone incase she needs me. She moved here from out of state so she doesn't know too many people. I try to take her out but I prefer not riding with a passenger. She is interested in getting a bike and I cant wait till she does. She's the best i've ever found so I can not complain about her.
