Cool story, neither my mom nor my dad (biological... trust me) have any red hair whatsoever, but my mom has a little Irish in her blood. My father had some business friends who found out my mom was pregnant with their first child, and he promised my mom and dad up and down for the entire 9 months that I would be a boy and that I would a head full of fire read hair. Well, low and behold I come out a healthy boy with...you guessed it bright red hair. Most of the red on top of my head has faded, but in bright sunlight you can definitely see it. It's sort of an auburn brownish-red now. Of course, my beard has remained pretty much all red to confuse and bewilder those around me.

 

Ya I read somewhere that prolonged masturbation caused adults to lose pigments in facial hair.
