They opened it up for high schoolers now too, but you have to be invited. Not sure if they now allow everyone on the site. Facebook has a much better and more organized system then myspace. Never liked myspace and the search feature on there seems really down right crude. And besides, Tom is a gay **********...

But facebook is now stalkerbook with their new news real section that tracks everything that happened to all your friends in a simple and conveniently way... It's quite useful, yet disturbing. Atleast they have a pretty decent security abilities between social networks.

What is facebook. I've never even heard of it. I must be too old.

fcaebook is basically a social networking site. It originally started as a way for students within certain colleges/universities could be part of groups etc. Gives you the ability to post pictures, join different groups, discuss different things, etc.

Yes in recent times facebook has allowed people to track you, but you can also limit exactly what is put out there for everyone to read. I personally dont really give a crap, but you can set it so that people can know if you change the smallest thing about you (i.e. what your new favorite book is, or your new address).

The reason I originally posted this was because it seems sportbikers in general are way under represented. I have been trying to get some group rides setup for the guys who belong to the Sportbikers Club - SD State chapter and no one ever wants to seem to respond.

Facebook and Myspace are for stalkers and preditors and people who want attention. If you really wanted to network with your friends then you would go have a beer with them...
