Default Face shield fogging up

So when it's cold out and I ride my face shield fogs up and I can't see a darn thing. Does anyone else have this problem and what do you do to fix it or make it so it doesn't happen?

In my Arai, I used Fog City inserts which u can get at cyclegear.com and other places. They fit and work really good but make sure that ur face shield is super clean before applying and squeeze out all the bubbles.

Since then, I've switched to AGV helmets which have anti-fog built into their shields (excpet for the iridium ones). Even then, I still find myself riding with the shield cracked at lower speeds.

has anybody tried using something like rain-x antifog on their shield? I was thinking about this instead of buying a new helmet cuz I'm teh poor... but I'm poor I didn't want to ruin my visor either. Someone richer than me try it out and let me know!

My HJC was only 115 plus shipping and It has vents to stop the fogging up problems.

I use the fog city inserts and they work well. I have a shoei RF-1000 also, but I took out the breath guard since I can't stand it. If I leave it in, there's no fogging.

I have the RF-1000 Joust TC-3. It doesn't normally fog and I know it's my breath. But after I get out of the bar/club/pool hall and ride home in the 50degree weather I take one little tiny breath and I can't see a damn thing. I might try that rain-x anti fog thing. My damned visor is already scratched from the retards I work with ****ing with my stuff and moving it around so I need a new one anyway. When I ride with it cracked too much wind gets in my eyes and they get all dried out. Maybe I'm just too fat and radiate too much heat in my helmet. hahaha Stupid 50 degree nights. =(
