So i am looking to get a newer cbr and i was just wondering which is better the F4I or 600RR

Depends on what you want to give and take.

 

personally i like the split level seat, the new f4i has the banana seat... rr has the split looks more like a race bike to me...

 

Seat - not a problem, you can put a split seat on an F4i. My brother did on his '04.

 

well the RR has more power and is more agressive if thats what your looking for but its all about the rider, I freakin lapped a highly modified 06 1000RR and a bunch of RC-51s at Barber this weekend on my F4i so the bike is nothing without a good rider

 

Woodyracing, did you do the trackday or were you there racing?

 

So yea i got about 1500 - 2000 miles in on my f3 which is my first bike so i would say like 5-6 months of riding.
Thats what i was thinking that the RR looked more for raceing then the F4I Does but woody does bring up a good point also.
So Which bike is more mechanicaly sound? And yes i know it all depends on how you take care of it but which one is better over all?

 

Better doesn't really enter into it... they're just made for different things.

 

Ok lets say you were in my position and you were selling your f3 to your buddy and wanting a new bike which one would be better for a new beginner that won't thrash me around but would be able to advance with out buying a more powered bike ?
