RE: F YOU INSURANCE!
ORIGINAL: Gville George
I probably should not get into this...
but, i don't believe in insurance on toys (most of our bikes are toys, unless you have no other daily ride that you can use if something happens)
I also don't believe in financing toys. save up, pay cash, kick your self if something happens and worry about health insurance instead.
insurance companies are for profit organizations, meaning they have done the math, its like betting against the house at a casino, in the long run, their profit comes from your pockets.
I know i am going to get flamed for this, but seriously, if you can afford payments, you can save up, an 03 600rr is not that expensive if you buy private. from a stealer ship is a different story, but that is another argument.

RE: F YOU INSURANCE!
It really isnt about "How bad i want to ride" I have been goign crazy not being able to ride this summer. It is a matter of physically being able to afford it. And thats not gonna happen when the bike is costing me $500 a month..Thats over $100 more thn it cost me to own a 2007 dodge charger.

RE: F YOU INSURANCE!
mine was 130 for a whole year, I only have liability. This covers you only if you hit someone (covers them that is) pays for their damages, but you're screwed cuz all the bike repairs are coming out of your pocket (which I'd halfway rather do anyway than pay for "backup" every month) Acts of God not included, deer runs out, etc. no help. Only if you hit someone. I thought this was a good deal. The insurance companies REALLY make profit, especially off the good riders, when they charge so much a month. But thank all the squids who cause so many wrecks and damages for these high rates.

It's an '03. All you need is liability. Full coverage wont be somewhat ok till your 25.
I'm 23 and switched to All State. Paying around $500 yr w/ unisured motorist (thats the price killer there). Even being 23 with a clean record doesnt get you cheap full coverage.
If I went full coverage I could buy another used bike in 2 - 3 years.
