So im getting a car, and i've wanted an f-body for a long time. I like the Trans Am WS6 better, but id like to see who likes what, if you even like these cars.

 

Guess you got your answer....what are you leaning towards?

 

I'd go with the TA, not the Camaro. There are SO many Camaros out there. The TA is a little more unique.

 

meh im not a caramo or ta's guy but if i had to pick i'd say the SS only cause i go to the strip alot and see tho almost proforming better than the ta

 

I was looking at TAs in the first place, i like the look a little better. i usually do hear that the SS is usually a teensy bit faster in the 1/4, but im not a drag racer, so oh well. lol. Regardless, i like the LS1 motor. Either car is pretty much a beast, i've seen a maniac, and his stock TA, right down to the air filter run a 12.7 in the 1/4 at a local track; now i know i couldnt make it do that, lol but its still pretty damn quick!

 

Camaro - because my buddies TA is always broke down. [8D]

 

NO!! The TA comes with 5 more tq than the ss and the same hp. It's faster but marginally.

You want WAY nicer interior? You want way more agressive body styling? You want the more rare car?
TRANS AM

I'm a former f-bod owner (camaro) and I know a lot about these cars. If you have any Q's lemme know. Either car is great though.

 

FOR THOSE YEARS THE TRANS AM PUTS UP MORE HP I DONT CARE WHAT CAMARO OWNERS SAY I HAVE SEEN A TRANS AM AND CAMARO BOTH 2001 BOTH STOCK BOTH SAME MILEAGE AND THE TRANS AM PUT UP LIKE 20 MORE HP

 

^^ Uh... no. Same motors same output. One just has a better ram air system allowing for slightly more tq.

 

I've read that the TA is faster!
