Steve, I think he's looking for towards something a little smaller in scale than a jet turbine.

I was going to say schematic before, too, but I was thinking of something a little more rudimentary, like something you would place on a bar napkin. Schematics delve too far into the specifics and take longer evaluate where an little 3D sketch will gives you a good perspective of the overall picture.
