Default engine kill switch

not that i would ever do this but it could happen by accident i suppose and i also think that it is important to know how your bike would react in any situation, so with that my question is what would happen if you were riding down the freeway and you pressed the engine kill switch?

You'd roll. A lot of people are worried about your bike suddenly locking up, but that is crazy and it would never happen. You could hit the starter while rolling to fire it back up.

yeah, it just cuts the power to the engine. i do this when i am pulling up to a gas pump or parking space, i normally have the clutch in or have it in neutral. but it will not lock up. i have run out of gas plenty of times and it just keeps rolling, hit the start button and VROOM!

I've done that accidentally and you will wonder why it all goes quiet. But just hit the switch and restart. Nothing locks up.
