Default emails from CBRforum...

a bulk of my posting and replying is a direct result of email updates and subscriptions...as someone posts, i get an email and i choose to either read and lurk or post, or whatever...and where i do comment, i have it set to email me when a new comment is posted as i want stay apprised of any new info in that thread...

that being said...ever since the site went down briefly last week....emails are at a crawl at best...i am receiving email updates form the 3rd....my email notifications are about 2 days behind currently....

anyone else noticing this?? if a mod would jump in that would be super as honestly, this is the only way i can stay involved...lol...please help!

the only emails i get are from PM's, and when i first started getting them, they'd show up in my email right away...but ive also noticed it being a bit slower now in getting to me now...

I don't use reply notifications, but I do use them for PMs. I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary, but I don't know if I had any or not, guess I'll find out in two days, lol.

The server is probably having issues, hence the downtime the other day, but it probably needs to be rebooted if it is still having latency issues. I'll ask about it.

The only thing I am signed up for is the womeng's thread, so I can make sure Zac and all you other perverts stay outta there! That section is so slow, that I haven't noticed anything.

Just an idea there ffingers, but I am sure you have already checked. Have you checked your personal settings since the site shut down? Maybe something happened to them. Just an idea.

this post was made at 7:48 on the 3rd...yet the email was "sent" on May 3rd at 6:48 PM....typically the sent time is after the post time in my other emails...something screwy is going on here...

alright after checking online, looks like gmail is having issues with some users...i sent them a report....ugh...this hurts...

It's almost like that saying. "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a noise?"

Almost the same thing happening to you. Does anyone want to hear a reply two days later?

PS don't reply if it takes two days, I don't want to hear it....
