When you're driving a car, do you always keep the windows down for the same reason? Without earplugs, most of what you're hearing is wind noise anyway.

I get disposable foam plugs at the drug store. They're good for 30 dB of noise reduction.

Just bought a reusable pair off earplugsonline.com.

Cost $5 (shipped), and on other motorcycle forums people seem to swear by these things.

Ill be the guinea pig and test them out.

I have a $150 pair of in-ear headphones, but I don't like to listen to music while riding...

I had the same idea when I was young. Now I have high-frequency loss in one ear.
