I am in the market for a new car, since my truck is a 1990 with over 200k miles, and its just time for something new. I am a college student so I wanna go with a car until I graduate. Lookin to spend $4500 or less.

I have been thinking a 95-98 Talon TSi AWD Turbo (Manual). Mainly because it seems like it would be a fun little car to drive, its AWD for winter, and gets decent gas milage.

Does anyone have any experiences with this car, or other suggestions?

ive had 2. haha..... they are great cars if you take care of them. parts are decently cheap to mid range. the 4g63t is an amazing platform for tuning. i had mine at 350whp. i miss it everyday. sold it cause of the military.......

What kinda work did you have into it to get it up to 350whp?

 

yea its a mitsu.
i had a good amout of work done to it. eagle rods and pistons. crawer cams. big 16g evo turbo. greddy fmic. megan manifold, downpipe,testpipe. dsm link. was 18psi daily. 25psi when i pushed it up.

 

Impressive. I like the white and black a lot, looks sharp but not over the top. eclipse GSXs are in what I am looking at too, as they are also AWD. Do you know what you paid for this car when you first bought it?

yea had like 80k on it. haha i was in the right place at the right time. old lady had it and went to trade it in. i happen to be there. they gave her 3k for it. so i offered 4k. they told me 4500. i said ok..... 4300. haha
