I had the midwatch last night, and met the guys from my unit for breakfast afterwards...I leave the diner to go home, and pull to a red light. As I wait my turn, some jack-hole in a pathfinder revs his engine and burns his tires as the light turns green and I speed away at a whopping 50 miles an hour leaving him like he was in reverse. I hate the fact that I bothered to take off, but it would have pissed me off more if i'd let him cruise by feeling like he'd done something with his stock v-6. So.....

WHATS THE DUMBEST CAR YOU HAVE EVER HAD CHALLENGE YOU OFF THE LINE????????

 

I had a stock cavalier do that to me. BUT....It was a car full of chicks so i gave them some amusement

 

I've only had one experience so far since I only use the bike for back roads type riding, but one time I had a guy in a VW Passat launch hard at the green light...so hard that the exhaust was puking out gas rich black smoke. I'm not going to waste my time, instead I let him look like a complete retard. He was also leaning forward to check his side mirror to see how bad he beat me too. It made me laugh and shake my head at the same time.

 

Well i have been on the opposite side. I have a huge jeep wrangler on 37s and really low gearing. And when i get really bored i always pull up to people and rev my engine. Sometimes they race sometimes not. But its just entertainment.

 

well never been challenged in my crotch-rocket before.. but with my 69 camaro in vegas hmm

camaro vs mini-van (with kids inside, like 1am at night) this guy was racing me thru suburban streets, we were hitting red lights at 90mph (STUPID!) but i wasnt going to loose haha
camaro vs corolla (what was he thinking?)
camaro vs caddi (it wasnt a sleeper, it was just ghetto)
camaro vs lambo (WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!) - you know what was the bad part of this one? the guy was old with a girl my age I should be dating and then in my camaro I had guy friend with me - *sighs*

the list would go on of stupid races i did and others.. imports have been close to me sometimes - but i smoke most everything except for 100K cars and any kind of bikes (damn mopeds haha)
I do get alot of Camaro fans that give me thumbs up while driving and will rev there engines - probbly why people love to just challenge me.

I think sooner or later i'm going to race my friend's nitro RC car - get that **** on camera (kind-of like oceans eleven)
I guess i would like to race a cop car too, there is alot of cops that was muscle car fans - so hoping one day i can match up

But i wouldnt challenge anyone on my bike anyways, it's just playing with death - maybe if it's 1am and a private street.

 

i was riding to work one moring on the I-5 in cali and a guy and his buddy in a stock ecliplse wanted to race and all i kept thinking was what is this guy doing so i just left him there in a heart beat...... i was already going about 80 and i didnt even have to down shift

 

well, i had a 300m try to race me.....but yea..i left him in the dark...

 

I had a camaro ss come up along side, we did the question stare, (like hey you think you can beat me look) he rev'd his I leaned back like I was laughing at him, came back down to the bars a shot off like a bullet, made two lights before he made one and I waited for him at the second. When he got there I asked if he wanted to go again. He said NO!

 

That black smoke could be from a diesel engine. Just a thought

But, as to what has challenged me.....i think the worst was a civic. Totally stock other than a body kit, rims and a HUGE spoiler. Oh, and, don't forget the fart can. This was with no traffic around though. Launched through first to about 60mph, then, cruised back down to the speed limit in second, which was about 50, then, as he tried to go flying by, i twisted the wrist and left him again. It was great.

Oh, and, I did have a minivan try to race me up an onramp onto I-4.

As to the dumbest thing i've tried to race, i was in my mom's 200 Grand Voyager, and, rolled up next to this chick in a v6 camero, and, she looked at me and revved her engine, i laughed and figured WTF and, went. I BEAT HER!!!!!!!! A minivan taking a camero!!!!!! Priceless!! She wouldn't catch back up to me.

stopped at the light minding my own when this kid rolls up on a put together huffy bicycle.
i look over and he starring at me like you want some punk.
i give'em a couple of revs.
he faces forward and places his foot on the peddle.
light turns green and he stands up peddling has hard has he could.
needless to say he beat me.
by the time i got to the next light i had to listen to this 12 year old punk talk smack.
good thing it was 2am and no one else was around.
