Ducati's suck
I've always felt the 999's are uglier than a pile of ********. The 748's, however, still make my boy parts tingle. And say what you will, the Monsters are tough as all hell...I hit a deer with mine, only thing bent was headlight mount and clutch lever. Only thing broken was my left arm. And the deer never got up to stalk motorcycles again...****er.
So what went wrong with it actually? Try and wheelie and starve the first cylinder of oil? Or did the block crack? Cant really tell from the pic, mine kinda looks like there is a big shadow in the way.

but asfar as the 749/999, I'm not a fan either. Owning a Ducati doesn't mean I like every bike they ever made, I owned a Kawasaki once but there is nothing on this earth that would make me like how the new Kawi 10R looks, now thats a pile of crap.
anyway, lets get on with the thread, what happened to the bike?
that wouldn't explain why a big deal was made about it being a ducati though. When I did the Spencer school we had about 8 600RRs fall because the kickstands sunk into the pavement while we were on a hydration break
I'm guessin its a rick picture and he just happened to roll over someone elses puddle of fuids cause the tire doesnt look the least bit damp and if the puddle is that close to the wheel you would think that he had some moisture on the tire???
