Damn I hate winter. I have gotten to ride twice this year. On the bright side it's finally over and me and my bike are going to make love many times this year.

 

ive already gone about 300 miles so far this year..i live in NY, still freakin cold sometimes..but still enjoyable! Get out there, ride, and be safe! Let the drama here die down

 

It was just a long winter and most people I talk to are just down, but here in Oh spring is in full swing. I had the bike out all weekend and even rode it to work today.

We'll all be talking more bike stuff here soon.

 

It's no secret that it's been an unseasonalby long winter for everyone, in the States at least. Typical forum behavior.

Also, using the word, "drama" makes everything 20x's worse and increases the dramatic activity to non-dramatic activity ratio. You've screwed the pooch!

 

Seems like winter gave some folks around here the blues. I know I kind of get the winter blues every year. We have spring, and riding, and b-b-q's, and all sorts of awesomeness to look forward to. Life is good!

 

Man I can't wait for some barbecues.

I can't wait for the August heat - and the cold of the fresh tank of gas between my legs.

I can't wait to see green everywhere.

I can't wait to smell fresh cut lawns on the parkway.

I can't wait to feel the cool-air patches/valleys in the parkway on a hot summer night.

I can't wait to take a long ride in the dark.

I can't wait for summer!

Damn, my hair just stood up thinking about riding while reading Kid's post above....been 5 months!!! WTF!!!!

CAN'T WAIT TILL SUMMER!!!!!!

 

Oh yeah...and I was gonna say all this drama...there seems to have been a spike in membership on here in January, when I first joined up also. I have become a devote member of this forum, it's the first one I ever joined and it helped to make a long, hard winter fade away a little easier because although we can't ride, we can talk about it at least.

I think alot of new members are trying to establish themselves and their viewson here and some of you veteran members are offering some resistance, but it is an open forum and ALL our views should be considered, as we areALL people who share common ground and areALL linked together one way or another.
