Default Dr Who??

I have just been reminded of the new series of Dr Who ..do you guys get this or watch it over there ..does it or its humour travel to you guys ok??

I always liked it .. the new series has always been fast paced and energetic ..I love David Tennant in it, love the Daleks and the Cybermen too ... the effects are always quite good and its just really good entertainment, escapism :-)

One I watched last year was good ... Madame de Pompadour

The girl in the fireplace, loved this one although very sad for the Doctor ..I loved the haunting theme tune that played throughout this whole episode ..yep nearly had me in tears at the end ... oh ok actually it did ..lol

It's aired on the SciFi channel here. I think it's before Battlestar Galactica.

I missed it when it first came out...I guess I was remembering the older Doctor Who and thought...great another remake because they can't come up with new ideas anymore.

On the urging of friend, I bought the first 3 seasons on DVDs (since I can only get season 4 online or on SciFi). I watched the first season in a week. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's quite entertaining.

I think the Daleks are a complete RIOT!! ..lol

In the new series one guys response is

"What are you going to do? Sucker me to death?". ..it then crushed his skull with its suctioncup.

Oh and they can levitate too now and fly through deep space ..scary!!

I am a HUGE Dr. Who fanatic. Tom Baker was da man ... got all his episodes on DVD. Peter Davison was o.k. ... preferred him in 'All critters great and small'.

Wasn't there another new Dr. ... Eccelstein or something? The dude with Rose ... ole crooked toothed Rose My favorite companion was that Leela chick ... yummy primitive[sm=drooldude.gif]

Eccleston, yes his was in the first season of the newer version. He actually quit after the first episode was screened and replaced with Tennant at the end of the season.
