yea dude sounds like you need some more confidence. You wont wreck unless you do something dangerous......or you could get unlucky and hit by a cage but **** that doesnt make me wear full leathers all the time....Be a defensive driver.

i dont think their is anything wrong with the thread starter wanting to know. he is making sure he is gonna be prepared for the wreck, i dont care if you always have your head in the game, anyone can go down at anytime, dress for the crash, not the ride. i would rather see everyone ask then not ask at all and wear nothing.

I went down on the highway on the exciting side of 100mph, slid for 210ft, jeans held up pretty good. I'd still have worn them afterwards except the had a slight hole in the knee. No rash on the legs, little cut on the knee.

Wow, thats quite a statement. I think most of the time when people crash, they arent doing anything dangerous and it was due to crappy road debris or dumbass drivers where you really cant do anything to avoid it, defensive driving or not.

Granted, i agree that you have LESS of a chance to crash by not doing dangerous stuff, but i wouldnt be as bold as to say never.

physically impossible unless you were:

1. not going 100
2. not sliding on the jeans
