does the MSF lower insurance?
i cant afford insurance..and maybe its cause im going through progressive and they are charging me out the a$$ for insurance..but my buddy got picked up and ticket doing 93 in a 65 last night..and the cop told him to take a MSF course to lower his insurance back down..will this just lower my insurance in general?
thanks!

Progressive in general is really expensive. Some one on here told me to try Riders Insurance. It was a lot lower and reasonable, but they might be PA and NJ only. Oh and MSF didn't lower my insurance...but some companies do accept it.
progressive does not lower their rates for msf completion. I just switched to nationwide, they were a tad cheaper than progressive for me, they do lower their rates for msf but not by a whole lot
I am a first time rider, and I went through State Farm. It is 450 for the whole year. That is with 100 comp and 500 collision deductibles on a 94 600. I do believe that is with a MSF discount.
i went through an insurance agent locally and he told me the only companny that would accept me is progressive..and they were the most expensive..i got quite through gieco..and they were half of what progressive was charging me..what ever i get for insurance this riding season..its going to be full coverage.
I am with Farmers and I believe they reduce you rate (small amount) if you take the safety course. Always call your insurance agent if you have a question about your policy.
