Does it live up to the hype?

Does it live up to the hype?
Your bike that is. I just got back from the first real ride on my new 1KRR and it EXCEEDS all of my expectations and all of the hype that I read and heard about it. It feels lighter and more nimble than the '06 600RR I had before.
I'm curious how other people feel about their bikes after having them for awhile. My 600 did what I expected it to do, but never exceeded that. I knew it would be a good bike of course but some of the things I had read put it on a pedestal that it probably didn't really deserve.

RE: Does it live up to the hype?
my '08 600RR is amazing. its lighter, its got much more midrange power. but for being 'flickable' i am still loving my F4i more. its possibly the tires, as i have PP's on the F4i and the Dunslops on the RR. im waiting to see if the RR feels even BETTER than the F4i once i get some PP's on it. but the RR does feel much better than the F4i in quite a few ways.

RE: Does it live up to the hype?
jaynd..when i had dunlops and switched over to pirellis, i felt that the bike was MUCH more flickable...like im riding and it feels like any movement will flick the bike to its side...screw those crappy dunlops, get new rubber over the winter. I guarantee its those tires not the bike.
