Ok, first of all, who's Z28 is that?
I have a question for that owner.
< f body fan from way back.... When I gave in and tried out a fourth generation, I noticed ALL the dashboards were cracking. I see yours isn't. After speaking with countless distributors and GM, they said the manufacturer that handles the dash's is no longer used because of the cracking issue; plus they didn't know when they were getting a new manufacturer to make them.. This was 3 yrs ago just before I sold my Camaro.Do tell.....

My Z-28, and to answer your other question, probably just some luck that mine hasnt. Its just a love thing i guess, you know how these cars are. They suck to work on, have a lot of issues, and just a general pain in the ***. But they are worth it if you can tough it out
