I have a good friend I ride with, and his brother ocassionally. Its not so much the fact that we ride together its that we think a lot alike, and our riding coincides with that. We are always watching out for each other if it be on the roads or elsewhere. Our wives are becoming good friends too so that probably helps.

The larger groups seem to be well, idiotic. No gear, wheelies, and 100+ mph down residential roads. No thanks I prefer no jail and living.

I would like to do some group riding for once. Not with 50+ people, but with like three or four. For me, unfortunately, I’m the only one with a bike. None of my friends have or can afford one. So I do all solo riding. Ill go fill up hit the road and just go. I never really ever know where. Like two Saturdays ago I decided to go out for a ride after my girlfriend left for work. I ran up to the gas station filled her on up and set out. I ended up doing a three hundred mile ride that took me over three mountain passes. (Snoqualmie, Blewit and Stevens.) It was a fun ride! Especially since it was unplanned. But I think I would of enjoyed it a little more if I would have had at least one more person with me. I ride alone so much that I wouldn’t mind a few people with me.

ORIGINAL: Mad

I dig my Sunday group rides. They're all stand up guys so we don't worry about the squidly acts. No wheelies, excessive speed, etc. We usually stop mid ride, grab a bite to eat, and shoot the **** for a while. It gives me a chance to "recharge" for the week.
same here except i havent been able to do that in a while so i am jonesing for a rid elol all i do is work so i have no time to myself.......

Solo. Total FREEDOM. Go where I want when I want and at my own pace. I dont have to share my lane and can weave (soberly) as much as I like.

I ride in a group about once a month. And for the most part, I have fun. IBut will usually peel off about halfway through the ride. I get bored.
