All black gear matches all the bikes. Plus a screaming red Ducatijacket for when I'm on the Ducati (it was a gift).

I have the blue and yellow 1000RR and I like accenting clors to match not the whole thing. I have two jackets one leather A* octane black and blue and an A* t-stunt airflow black, white and blue, both of my bikes have blue on them.Blue and black Scorpion Crackhead helmet and Arai black Tommygun helmet andsolid black Shoei helmet. Shift kevlar jeans and black icon superduty 2 boots and A* GPX black white blue gloves so it all has same theme but several color combos to break up the bland solid color matching. But when you have colors that are not even close onto me it loks like youare borrowinga bike or stole it.

I guess what I mean, is do you try to match the colors of your gear to bike (ex. blue gear to blue bike, etc)

For example, I saw this:

Call me crazy, but I think it looks great! Others will beg to differ (probably the majority)
Did I read that right? Sponsored by Trojan and Viagra? hahahaha Awesome!

Of course I match...I make sure everything from head to toe (not including my jeans) is either black or red with a little silver thrown in, but I really try to emphasize the red.
