DESPICABLE ACT ON SOME RIDES
Didn't know whether or not I was going to post this story or not, but decided that it was worthy enough last night after our Runway fun. Now if you're interested in that I suggest looking at the 1000 hurricane section of the forum. Four of the six of us went out to dinner at a local restaurant that caters to the bike community. After finishing dinner we were about to leave. When we noticed a gathering of riders and law enforcement officers at the rear of the parking lot at this point, curiosity got the best of us so we walked out to see what was going on, and discovered that about five bikes sitting closest to the rear the parking lot had their clutch levers broke off and thrown on the ground next to their bikes. Not sure if this was done with some form of tool or by sheer physical strength. It was a despicable act, regardless one that if it had happened to me would tested my self-control to its max the bikes that this occurred to were different brands. Different styles, so it wasn't just merely someone on a cruiser perpetrating this act on a sports rider or vice versa. Anyone out there every hear of this happening before and have any idea how this act is carried out and is there any way to prevent this from happening other than just standing guard over your Ride.

Yes, there exist people who just hate, period. If it was not bikes (for wot ever reason) then it would probably be a type of car, type of person, whatever.
Most likely a couple of drunk guys who think this sort of thing is "brave".. or maybe a local bike dealer who has an over supply of clutch levers.
