Wow. I just saw this thread. Terrible news.

My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

Edited to add that I'll be riding down to Washington later this month, and I'll be sure to stop by the Marine Corps Memorial in Arlington National Cemetary to think some good thoughts about him.

Mark was a good friend, great rider coach and a really great Marine!!! Its hard to understand why someone can do 3 tours in Iraq and live, then to come home and get killed on a citystreet.
Why-Why-Why?????
Many people in life wonder if they ever made a difference-Mark did not have that issue. He did it daily.
During our last convesation we had on Friday afternoon was "how well life was going and how much he loved Lilly!"
Mark- you will be missed more than you know. I sure glad we had the opportunity to be friends.
You will be missed.
Dude-keep the tires warm until we ride together again.[sm=patriot.gif]

I talked to Lily last night online and she isnt doing so good. Which is so normal. I would put up her aol im name but i dont want to do anything that would upset her anymore. Mark is going to be buried out in Mass. I am guessing that is where his mom is. Lily said something about that last night. So when i hear something from her i will let you all know.
