Thank you for all your support. Please know that it helps me to know that so many people already miss him. He liked chatting with many of you. Thank you for bringing that into his life. I LOVE YOU MARK BARRETTE. I ALWAYS DID AND ALWAYS WILL. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN MY PRECIOUS ANGEL.

what makes this worse is that he was such a stand up guy...fighting for our country, and an MSF rider coach...helping the newbies (like all of us at one time) learn how to ride safely...

I just got back from SoCal last night from some training down there. When I was there, seeing all the bikes and all, I wanted to use the hotels PC and PM Marine to let him know I was in town and maybe meet up for a beer or something. Man this really sucks, kinda puts things into perspective. We all see rider down postings, but this is the first one that I actually talked to on a personal level, PM'ing back and forth anfd shootin the **** and all, can't believe he's gone. Looks like he was doing his part and all, at least not some one-wheel squid story or something, just an accident of someone not seeing him and maybe in a hurry trying to beat the lights. Sucks any way you slice it. I'll miss the guy. Fair Winds and Following Seas, Devil.

This is too much. Marine was a wonderful guy, andhe and Ihad a few nice correspondences...I have a brick in my stomach...shocking news. I really have nothing that I can say...horrible, horrible news. Please, Crazyride, understand how much he will be missed by the people on this forum, and accept our condolences and prayers. My heart is heavy at this news...so very sorry!
