06 R6 - $1800 with 8k miles
08 R1 - $2400 with 10k miles

Those are 2 bikes that Ive seen in the past week here in Cali and they were both incredibly clean... The deals will come but make sure your patient for it

 

While there are deals to be had, Hondas usually demand top dollars of all the top 4 japanese bike manufacturers (at least around here). There are always cheap yammys and zukes but rarely a cheap honda (again, around where I live).

 

I see the same thing here in Jersey. Hondas and Kawi's seem to hold value for a long time. To me, it's totally worth the extra money and the extra time it takes to find the right one.

Look for a 954 and go for it if thats what you want. Its a great bike.

I liked the one listing an engine that won't fit in the bike....and the one selling a model that never existed.

I talked to the guy a long time over the phone.
He confirmed that it had 34k miles on it.
The exhaust was a full Akap. He is the 2nd owner and he rides it whenever it is nice out. Asked if he knew if it had other mods and his answer was a definitive no. So I dont know. Suppose to be going 1hr or so to check it out this weekend. I checked NADA and average retail is about $3200 if that. I think I will start there if it is ok.

The guy with the 954 special edition is suppose to be calling me back.

This is crazy. Here in the Carolinas, that bike rally is coming up and I think they are jacking the prices up for that. I have NO interest in that. I just wanna ride and park my car.
