Who's played this game? I was at GameStop last week looking to get a new game, and it was between COD 5, Dead Space, and Resistance 2. COD 5 is out because it's from the COD 3 developers...the COD 4 team is returning to do 6, which will be future warfare. Anyway, I hadn't heard of Dead Space until then, and it got rockin reviews and came highly recommended, so I picked it up and this game blows me away. It's visuals are stunning, but the sound is even better. Turn the lights off and the surround sound up for this one. The only drawback is that it is single player, but there's a ton of trophies to be earned so I'm sure I'll play it through a few more times once I finish it.

have you even played cod5? its the same as cod4, really, just harder on MP, not so much a run-n-gun as cod4. anyways, i have not played dead space, it looks kinda cool. i heard really good things about it. on the other hand, resistance II looked fuggin badass when they demoed it at E3.
