Well, it finally effected me. My fiance got told on friday that she will be laid off at the end of this school year (1st grade teacher). This happened last year but she found another job before September. Lets hope we can be lucky again this time because now we have a mortgage. She's unbelievable at what she does and has a great portfolio so I'm not that worried, but then again if I wasnt worried I probably wouldnt be posting this. There are just too many teachers out there and too little positions. Luckily I'm really safe at my job and between my salary and her unemployment we should be fine. Just thought I would share, I know alot of people on here have been laid off and would propably have some good advice, she could really use it right now. The part that bothers her the most is she can't see her kids move on.....I feel so helpless....
