Imagine a 40lb Canadian goose to the chest. Given enough speed, that could quite possibly remove you from the bike.

The bird wasn't that big, maybe about the size of a softball. When it was coming at me it looked like a freaking bowling ball. I think it was a small pigeon, the area we were in has a few of them flying around.

I'm just glad that I'm still here to post this semi-humurous thread.

Just be thankful you only have to watch out for kamikaze birds...

CBRclassic has to constantly dodge kangaroos, emus, and the occasional wallaby.
