So tonight my fiance and a buddy of mine were coming back from dinner in Moline around sundown. We were driving down avenue of the cities (the main drag in town) when I noticed a ten or twelve year old kid riding his bike down the median of the street between the east and west bound lanes. I thought "that's kind of stupid" just as he started to cross the road over the eastbound lanes when blam he got t-boned by a car. It made the most sickening crunch I've ever heard. The kid flew off the bike, rolled up onto the hood, rolled off the passenger's side and landed on his feet and walked away like nothing happened. His bike was completely smashed but he looked fine (he was limping slightly) The car that hit him had to be doing about 20 or 30. They called an ambulance just to be sure but I couldn't believe it. Talk about young and flexible, if it were me I'd be in the hospital all jacked up on morphine right now.

 

Ahhhhhhhhh to be young again !!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
