Cops and Gear?

It sucks when it takes stuff that like to get people to change or make them realize they need to change. Do it sooner and save some lives

The area between a person's (male and female) legs; the crotch, the groin, the area where reproduction and the removal of bodily wastes occurs.
Sounds about right..

Most bike cops here wear leather pants and a textile jacket. You wouldn't see a cop on a bike in a t-shirt here.

Round here there's no official policy as far as I can see.
Some cops on harleys, some on cruisers, a couple on goldwings.
All of em have one of the "Convertible" helmets that folds up over the face, and down into a full face. They all visibly wear standard issue pants, but when I asked one who pulled me over they said they wear armor under them. I've seen a few in a blue mesh jacket with the PD logo on the back, but I don't know if it's a standard item or if someone got them made.
I remember in the past they didn't wear any gear, but a couple years back they lost an officer when he went down in some gravel without a helmet.

But it honestly amazes me that they don't wear at least mesh. Every once in a while I have seen a moto cop in black leather jacket. But most times, it's uniform shirts with dead bugs falling out of their mustaches.
I mean honestly, given the known pain of a bulletproof vest getting tested the bad way you'd think they'd want any extra padding for that situation.
