Got this idea from another forum and I know there's a lot of military folks on this site. So the premise is, post up some cool military pics of your world wanderings. I'll start it out with a couple photos I took from a magic carpet (Black Hawk) ride over over al-Rahman mosque in Baghdad, Iraq.

That is one of the sickest buildings I've ever seen. Stupid question, where you allowed in there?

 

Nope....can't go in there. It's an affront to their religion to have non-Muslims in their mosques. That's why when the insurgents take refuge in the mosques, the Iraqi police are sent in...no US forces...

 

Yeah, I saw quite a few Aussies over there. Here's a pic I took of a couple fellows on top of the courthouse building...



Saw a couple of nice motorcycles there. Mostly in the city though...no dirtbikes for the dirt roads out in the country...

 

Since I was over in Iraq Sept 2004 to April 2005. I have alot of photos to show. Some are not for the viewing but others are. I tried to download them on here but they say its to large of files. If anyone can help me out and download those here or tell me how. I would be more than happy to share my photos from my journey.

 

here's a few. I have hundreds of pics but most are of "dead guy" and other stuff I can't post up here. I figured these were probably a good synopsis of what my experiences have been like over here thus far. I'm currently deployed on a MiTT team to the Tall Afar area. I've ruined these pics shrinking them in order to be uploaded, but you should be able to get the idea. I'm the cheesy looking Captain on the left in the last picture.
