Oh man, were you in with the bunch that went through all the layoffs or at least worked for a company that was affected by all that? I feel your pain. My mom's ex worked there when everything went to s***. It really screwed the economy here. Jobs got scarce because maybe half the residents in the area worked for them probably another 25% worked for any of a hundred companies that relied on their products. Everything came to a standstill. My mom worked for one of those companies that relied on them. Luckily, I was in the military when all that went on and by the time I got out, the economy was getting back on it's feet. I had to send money home quite a few times to help out.

Oh, btw thanks for the tag I like it. It fits

Not quite man I assisted some people at the financial end as things were being
finalised.

It was a total disaster back then.

Yea definitely. Honestly, it still is a disaster, maybe worse in some ways. At least the Charlotte area hasn't been hit as badly as some areas in the country. I was looking at the housing market in Detroit and Atlanta a while back. Those areas got hit really hard, but especially Detroit. I saw houses at the time selling for under a grand.
