Confederate Motorcycles - Your Thoughts
#11
I am skeptical that the name Confederate Motorcycles would be driving customers away other than amongst a small number of college students and housewives who can't afford or don't want a $200k motorcycle anyway. I would think that a more likely explanation is $200,000 for a motorcycle. That will drive customers away faster than a pair of Rottweiler guard dogs. So now are they going to sell $200,000 electric motorcycles? Good luck with that one.
And while we're on the subject of crappy journalism, why would the author of the article claim that the new company, Curtiss Motorcycles, was named after Glenn Curtis, which isn't the same name. Seriously sloppy writing since his name was actually Curtiss. Doesn't seem that difficult to be accurate and he did it not once but twice. Even included a link to the correctly spelled aviator's museum.
