Around here there is stateland everywhere with places to shoot. Just drive 3 miles up the road, or parents farm. Always fun to shootup a dead chicken, or kill a pig for slaughter now and again. Nearest range for me is like 45min away, LOL.

I use an uncle mikes inside carry. Just a plain simple pouch with a clip so I can tuck it inside my jeans/pants. It looks like this one, mostly

You can't go wrong with any of the mentioned I have a carry perm also I tote a ruger p97 with a decocker, anda smith 357 5" barrel. The glock is nice but the butt of the gun is thick so you have to have big hands I didn't like the way it felt. The snubb nose 357 from ruger is nice and carries a good punch. Be careful and be responsible.

I would think, with the drive through capital punishment lines, that they would also be fairly leanient with the gun laws.

I live in the same area as you do Havoc. It seems nearly impossible to get a permit here in Nor Cal. If you have any luck, I'd love to hear how to get one.

Voodoo, I'm just curious as to why you want your CWP. You live in a small town in Oregon, right? Do you work in a bad part of town? I'm all for owning guns... I even own one. I understand you want to protect your family, but I have my gun at home for that. I guess if someone wanted to attack me or my wife outside our home, they would have to deal with the 2 cannons attached to my torso! haha
Anyway, I would definitely go with the hammerless revolver you have linked to. IMO, if you need more than 5 shots to stop an attacker, you have no business carrying a weapon. Before anyone gets mad at me, notice I said "need" and not "have in case."
