ill say it once and only once it has nothing to do with the gun and every thing to do with the mental state of the person this is why we dont judge crime on what weapon you picked up but by the state of mind you were in when you committed homicide. notice i said homicide becuase homicide is the killing of another person murder is the intent to kill a person. someone who takes guns and says there all bad is like trying to at 1+x and trying to acutally finger out what it could equal. there is alot that goes into the intent of the person when they commit the crime and would take hours and hours for me to explain. but to sit there and just blame it on guns is kind of ingorant.

let me just give one example of 2 murders i did research in. one a boy was being molested by his mom he snaped and at 16 years of age he beat her to death with a golf club. the second one the boy was physically, mentally, and sexually abused by his step dad he some how got a gun (the parents didn't own one) and shot them to death. even if in either case do you think a child that goes throught that kind of abuse has a full grasp and understand of what he is doing? and that not having access to a gun once he has it in his mind that he is going to kill them is going to stop him?

Glad to see this thread back on top. The discussion seems to be more civil now.

I think you post items that should be of common sense, but some folks aren't a big fan of common sense, arguments ensue, but, not bagging on anyone, all opinions appreciated, just carries allot more weight when it makes sense and has a point of reason to it.
