Community Rides
Figured that this probably deserved its own thread here...
I was talking about this bar ride though that happens in my town every year. What they do is block off three blocks of main every summer, and about 11 PM all the bikes line up and go in the front and out the back. The only problem that I have with this, besides the fact its nothing for charity, but instead is that its all Harley's. I have yet to see a sportbike down there. Well this year, my buddy and I plan to change that. We plan to do the ride-through right along side every other bike down there. Our only concern is the negative animosity from other riders. Anyone else ever tag along on something like this whether it be a ride through or charity ride and get negative attitudes from non-sport bike riders?

RE: Community Rides
I hear you, Telly. ALL of the events around here are exclusively Harley rides. I think that istotally stupid, especially if it is a charity event (which most of our's are). I don't think I would have a problem "crashing" the event with a friend or two. My advantage is, I play in a local band, and have actually played at a few of these events, so I really don't think the riders would f_ck with me.
