colors and designs...
I have the same colours on my '87 and I'm having the same discussions (only I'm just talking to myself - I can never seem to agree with me, either...).
I have some road rash that needs at least a touch up but I'm thinking of a whole new paint job. I'll probably go with silver decals and an indigo metallic blue.

ORIGINAL: Aken
Paint it like the crazy F2 schemes with purple and pink and black and stuff. I always thought those were awesome.

Now the front is just black, with a small HRC sticker in the middle of the air vent above the headlight.
Looks cleaner, a bit more modern, and doesn't look like every other F2 out there.
The other triangular decals on the side fairing are getting there as well. Just a bit of old adhesive removal and some fine detail work to be done.
My bike is starting to look like a "yearless" Track Day, (which is what it is now mostly) or race bike, which it's not, but I like the look of
stickered, sponsored race bikes.
Put some stomp grip on the tank recently as well.
No current pics. Just lazy and haven't been to the store to get batteries for my little digital cam.
Still have a lot of clean up to do anyways, including cutting and grinding unneeded parts of the sub-frame, like the passenger peg bracket holder.
You can make a bike, any year and make, look like you want it to.
On the original Hurricane like that, I would invest in some aftermarket bodywork. Something with an edgier look.
