i have a yellow and dark charcoal gray 06 f4i, and i was thinking of doing a wing outline or shadow, but i know know what (if any) colors would work with the yellow/gray combo? anyone have any ideas?

 

Guess you must have checked out Tapeworks! Good stuff on there...I was thinking about doing the same thing with some reflective white wing shadows on mine. Was going to do the pink to go with my gear, but I'm not sure...someone that works with me has the same bike you do and has black wing shadows and it looks pretty cool. Gives it more depth and goes well with the gray!

 

i was wondering if the black would stand out at all against the gray did he use 1/8 inch? or 1/4 inch?

 

He did 1/8 inch shadows and it looks pretty good...you can always photo shop some wings on your bike and see what you like! That's what I've been doing, I'm still undecided.

 

I did the Silver wing shadows from tapeworks on mine....

 

my 929 has a similar color combination. I did a silver stripe on the wings to accent the rest of the silver on the bike.

 

Black would be my choice.

 

see my biek is the opposite of that....the bike is yellow and the wings are charcoal gray.

 

"I would" choose the black

 

i just tried putting on some black 1/8th on at lunch, im half done, we'll see how it turns out.
