big words . com, you go onto the website and put in all the books that you need and it searches allll of the cheap textbook websites for the best prices on each book, then you go to the site n buy from there.

I've always found my best deal on amazon.com for new books or used books that guarantee no markings or highlights.

I did some data recovery for a P.H.D. candidate and she would order "deck copies" for me so my books were free . This little transaction saved me an A$$ load of cash!! But I completely agree with the cost of books for class and how quickly they become obsolete. The publisher will charge $200+ for a book and then publish a "new" edition by changing a couple words in the ENTIRE book.

abebooks
They sell the international copies of books and are cheaply made but you can't argue with $1-$5 for something you'll use sparingly. Then you resell for 10 bucks to the kids below you.

i used ebay and amazon...one semester I ended up paying 120ish for 7 books from buying used on amazon and ebay...it would have cost 530 at the book store...for the used books!

also, the international editions are word for word the same thing
