This is just an explanation .... post

Ok... here it is .. in all its honesty..
I was going to not bother logging back in as my last post explained..
Since then I have had quite a few email and PM's and **** even a phone call to encourage me to just ignore the **** that caused me to make my last post a couple of days ago..

This morning here even my misses ripped into me once more and said exactly this to me..

" (Siince when do you Steve let any few grumble bum mods or a few disagreeable members of any forum stop you ?? )"

I said to her that I would not normally , but having been told that a few staff here and a handful of members wanted my head on a plate, I thought it the best thing to do...

I got a reply from her immediately that went something like this ..
"( You never take **** from anyone ,even the authorities :-) was her words ,so whats the dam difference now with the forum ") (authorities......meaning the cops)

I actually do not believe that I am that hard to handle or get along with , except when provoked, but obviously some members see that differently...

For all the effort that I throw at this place , it seems that some still had cause to get that upset , that they reported me to Admin..


anyway ...I am not sure what is worse now ....a little bit of misery guts from a handful of members mixed with the knowledge that a few mods would prefer me gone from here or the flak I am copping from my misses and trying to ignore the flow of support shown from the people that have contacted me since that last post...pushing me to change my mind about deciding not to participate here..

The upshot of which is I have chosen not to let myself back off so easily and I am going to stay .. (until I am deleted of course :-)

I would like to thank all of those peeps that contacted me over the past 2 days..
and I will try to do the right thing by you ...


BTW: I only make this post, because I was stupid enough to let a few temporary emotions get to me and cause me make the last post :-)

She I think is tougher than me sometimes mate ...

It may only be 48 hrs mate ...but I tellyu what ..I defy anyone to argue with my misses for even that small amount of time
Hey ...she rides passenger with me , even when I am in a bit of a hurry , and all she ever does is punch me afterward in the ribs , then tells me " wooo... that was exciting "

This is not a welcome back, but more as I mentioned at the top ...

BTW... the Internet is people .... real people with real feelings and emotions.. and real anger...
These things I have mentioned in here quite a few times in posts...
I have seen even you loose patients and get angry Gregg..
As a matter a fact everyone in here can be pushed to the point where they stop behaving as they normally would...just like in the real world...

I will not ever see this place as just "the Internet" Gregg..

When and if that happens , you are opening up the door for all manner of unwanted things ..
