Default Christmas dinner SOLVED!!!

Went out goose hunting this morning out on the banks of Newport RI. Me and a buddy set up 3 dozen dekes and settled into a snowbank with a hot cup of coffee. Not 5 minutes went buy and my Lab Heidi gives off a little whine and I see her eyes fixed over the tree-line, and in comes about 25-30 greater canadians. They cirlce one, twice, then commit. Wings locked and cupped tight they dump speed and alititude, the landing gear comes out and about 15yds off the ground we open up. I went for a double, went 1 for 1 with my over/under and my buddy got his two. I send out the hound and she retrieves all of them for us before we can even finish our cup of coffee. The only thing that might have made it better was some drowning pool playing in the background. We were packed up and outta there with two limmits in less than 30 minutes. Wish every morning was like that.

Grats on the hunt. Some days it all clicks. Others not so much.

Come down here some time and shoot all the geese you want ... stupid things are worse than possums [:@]

In the most basic sense it's a Vietnamese beef (or other meat) and noodle soup. It's a really good tasting freakin meal though. It's got a lot of stuff in it and takes ages to cook right.
