I had to drive three hours north to pick up my new work truck, so I decided to gethis new CD. The first time through it, there were some songs that I really liked, but I remember liking "Euphoria Morning" better the first time through. The second time through, I started the hear some of the hooks he had in the choruses and bridges. The third time through I realized I loved this CD. It is amazing how he can write something like "Jesus Christ Pose" and go to some of the sensitive balads that are on his solo albums...amazing! As I said, the best songwriter I can think of.

Same here... I listened to it at work three times through and my God it's awesome. I really like the songs, "Ghosts" and "Killing Birds".

^^^ Me too!!! Also, I love the last song. It's like an homage to a James Bond theme if that makes sense, but with a kick!

The last song, "You Know My Name", was the opening song to the latest Bond film, "Casino Royale". It's weird though because it isn't on the film's official soundtrack CD, lol...

It's a little lighter than Audioslave. Really shows off voice more than insturments. I'd say it's quiet a bit lighter than mainstream rock.
