choice of automobiles for CBR owners ?
Although I don't currently own a car that I really enjoy driving, I think of myself as a car guy... l love bikes like everyone else here, but I also like reading about the latest auto models, performance figures etc. Just for kicks, name the car/truck/SUV that you would drive if cost were no object. I will go first - I drive a 3 year old station wagon because I have two kids and am always broke ;-) but if I could buy any car out there it would have to be a BMW M5 or Audi S6 because I like the stealth factor of a plain looking sedan with 4 or 5 hundred horsepower.
I have recently been finding myself drooling over the new camaros. my uncle has a '69 SS Convertible that i would love to have as well.
When i turn out of my apprenticeship i am going to buy one of the newer style GTO's 6.0 of course.
my current ride is an 08 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V.

I actually drive a 2001 Mustang GT which is my summer / good weather car and an Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Quattro (All Wheel Drive) in the winter and my normal daily driver. I've done plenty of modifications to both of the cars. The Mustang is a Saleen clone sitting on 20" chrome and pushing 463 RWHP. The Audi hasn't received quite as many performance upgrades, she's just been dropped down a couple inches, threw a set of Lorenzo 18" euro-style wheels on her and installed a stereo system that will make the hairs on your arm stand up and your ears bleed. I also bought my fiance' a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and our family car is the Volvo S80. Both of which are basically stock other than the 18" wheels and I installed indash DVD players in both.

my cars to this point have been more about utility: i have a pickup and an suv. but lately i've been thinking about a 'mid-life-crisis-mobile.' something small and fun to drive with two seats and a maybe convertible top. i envision something inexpensive like a like a sky or solstice with some mods to make it more elise-ish.
Yeah, it is tough when you have to carry family and lots of belongings around with you all the time - my "mid life crisis" mobile has been my CBR ;-) But one day I would like to get a classic roadster like an Austin Healey or Sunbeam Tiger.... but I have just a one car garage at the moment.
DREAM - Mclaren/Bugatti
Realistic Exotic DREAM one day - Ferrari 360/430
Realistic Classic Americana Dream - 1967 Chevelle (396 SS of course)
Realistically (as in what might I buy in the next 3-5 Years) - Early model NSX and Vipers are getting real affordable.

WRX sti, no doubt.
I never really bought into the Lambo, Ferrari, etc. thing. I'll give em their due, but it's nothing I need. I'll take the $35K production rally car, thanks. Plus I love the new hatchback look.
