I got cought up in the chicken strip game when I first got my bike, ate them off as soon as I could, and had fun doing it. Now I look back and think, what would I have done if somthing went wrong? I wasn't that good, had no tequniqe besides twisting my wrist, I was just lucky! Now, I ride much more conservitly and am planning a track day. Not that I'm scared, Im very capable of eating them away, still do on occasion by accident..(those ct2's just make it to easy!). but I'm learning to think ahead of the game and watch my children grow up.

Just another casualty of being super-awesome, but I think you made the right decision - better to ditch
the shake than be thought a poser.

PS: we need a sarcasm smiley.

I've only been riding 38 years or so and my tires still get squared off, but you should see the tires on my 4x4 pickup. They're snow tires.

I think that's the wisest thing I've heard on this forum all year,

Lean the bike far enough, and you'll always end up scraping plastic.
It doesn't matter how much skills you have. If you defy the laws of phisics, they will beat you down, hard.
And you won't be doing much riding if your bike, or your body are broken from a nasty spill.
