I was going to get his ears cut, but never did. so both my dobes that I have had, neither have had their ears croped.....they do look much better but they say its painful and since I didnt plan on breeding I decided not to.
I love dobes, they are great family dogs, if you have never had one then wouldnt know how protective they are.

 

Thats a good looking shepard. I've had them in my family my whole life.
